Wave machine

Our year 12 students are getting their teeth into making a wave machine using skewers, duct tape and jelly babies. Although a few babies were lost in the making (😂), a fully working wave machine was built and wave speed, frequency and wavelength measured and calculated.

Following close consultation, we have been advised by Cumbria County Council’s School Transport that a replacement service to the original Mirehouse bus is being provided for The Whitehaven Academy.
