The Whitehaven Academy proudly hosted the Year 8 interschool robotics competition again this year, kindly sponsored and supported once again by Sellafield and also supported by STEM.
The day was a great success in which the three CET secondaries: The Whitehaven Academy, Workington Academy and William Howard were joined with St Benedict and St Bees to form cross school teams and compete in building robotic arms and remote controlled buggies. Thank you to everyone involved – it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all!
