At The Whitehaven Academy, the Expressive Arts team has been working hard on their Christmas celebration performances.
From dancing, singing, acting, guitar and drum playing, to the delicious refreshments kindly baked in the Food Technology department, we welcomed a fantastic audience to enjoy the festive evening.
Year 11 parent Colin Burns said, ‘The choreography was brilliant, everything was fantastic, quite inspiring. It takes a lot for the students to get on stage to perform, and fantastic to see the students keep developing; the relationships between staff and students at The Whitehaven Academy is what makes it so great.’
Proceeds from the show will go towards our musical production of Little Shop of Horrors which will take place on the 10th and 11th of July.
Thank you for everyone who has supported the Expressive Arts team this term and our brilliant audience. We wish you all a sparking Christmas and cannot wait for you to see our musical production.
