The Whitehaven Academy students completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver expedition on the weekend of 3rd – 5th May. Walking through Eskdale then Nether Wasdale via Santon Bridge to their destination at Muncaster Castle, students successfully navigated their way to their final campsite, pitching up after a very soggy weekends hiking.
Well done to all – a tremendous effort!
