This week we are going to look at anxiety, but first lets just have a brief moment, to highlight that MENTAL HEALTH is EVERYONE’S business. We all have times when we feel stressed, sad, worried or frightened, and most of the time those feelings pass. But sometimes they can develop into a more serious problem and it could happen to any of us. Your mental health is ever changing as you move though different stages in your life.
Anxiety is an emotion, a feeling that we all experience. Anxiety is triggered in times of stress, or when we feel under threat. Our brain will respond, as does our body. Anxiety has good intentions, it means to keep us safe. When anxiety impacts on your daily life then it has become a problem, if you feel waves of anxiety, fear, panic or worry then you can use tools and strategies to feel calm.
