We were very lucky to welcome musicians from the Manchester Camerata Orchestra and their composer in residence for a second afternoon of workshops.
They first worked with a group of Year 7 pupils who came together to compose a collaborative piece of music inspired by Whitehaven.
Later in the afternoon, the Year 11 GCSE music class were given a composition masterclass and invaluable feedback on their own compositions. A great afternoon was had by all.
