The Whitehaven Academy has been involved with an exciting project called ‘Start at Rosehill Theatre’ for over a year. The project is managed by Rosehill Theatre, partnering with Theatre by the Lake and funded by ‘Children & the Arts’. Year 7 students travelled to Keswick on Wednesday, 28 November to enjoy a performance of Laurence Boswell’s thrilling and inventive Beauty and the Beast; a timeless tale of the true nature of beauty and the transformational power of love.
The students had a wonderful time and will now be able to use this performance to begin work back at school.
