At The Whitehaven Academy, we are keen to find the best way to help students make the important decisions about their GCSE and BTEC choices, so that they can enjoy success in 2027.
In addition to our options evening, we have also produced a new online options booklet available below. It is really important to us that we give students and their families the chance to talk through their choices. Consequently, we will be offering one-to-one meetings with members of the leadership team for any students and parents who, following the evening, have further questions and concerns.
A combination of strengthened staffing and the new build facilities means that we are able to offer a number of courses with Creative i-media and GCSE Dance, as well as fully exploring STEM opportunities. The academy facilities mean that students can embrace the challenges of BTEC Engineering, GCSE Computer Science, GCSE Design and Technology amongst a wide range of other creative and academic courses.
