On Monday 14th January, pupils from The Whitehaven Academy took part in taster composition workshops delivered by musicians from the Manchester Camerata and organised by Cumbria Music Hub.
It is an opportunity for young composers to produce a collaborative composition which will be performed at Lakes College, by a 13 piece ensemble from Manchester Camerata and the young composers on Tuesday 9th July; this will form part of a concert for primary schools.
